It does a great job, I’m still giving it 4/5, but when things are getting tight, and Firefox is acting up, and Parallels is sucking memory like a drunken sailor I DO NOT NEED the notifications contantly bleating “Memory pressure is critical” then “Memory pressure is bad" (or whatever it says), then back to “Memory pressure is critical”, etc, etc, every 20 seconds. I actually told my computer to shut up.
My advice? Set up a timeout for the notifications. If it goes critical, and the notification comes up, set a timeout of 10 minutes before you do it again, because the user gets it, there’s a problem. No need to repeat yourself. As the user is shutting down things and clearing out memory they don’t need a klaxon going off.
Again, remember. I actually told my computer to shut up. You don’t want to be the one responsible for that.
