Great for Switching Gears

Run web apps, email clients, server monitors, or VMs, then suddenly want to switch to Excel, Keynote, and GoTo Meeting? A quick optimize, and it’s a smother transition.

awesome

Helpful

Have a similar app on my iPhone; when it slows down, I run it and things speed up. If this also got rid of junk files as the iPhone one does, I would rate it a 5 but had to get a different app for that. But it does what it says - that means a lot - and the price was right!

Invaluable

I love being able to see when my memory is getting out of control. When things get slow it also reminds me to shut down some apps that I don’t need open.

A Password on Memory Monitor???

If you have nned to work offline, then this program is not for you! Once offline it will ask for you Apple ID. You will have to sign back online, then sign on to the app store all just to use this program :( A program as SIMPLE as this DOES NPT NEED TO ACCESS MY APPLE ID JUST TOO RUN!!!! I WILL NEVER PAY FOR THIS IN THE FUTURE!!!!!!! DITCH THE PASSWORD! 113Doctor 113Doctor(.)com Look Right click on a Topic/Link of Intesters, Enjoy :)

Functional, but of questionable to minimal benefit on a good system

This app freed the most memory, in a (not terribly formal) test I did with four such apps. However, after several months of usage, I find that the results are not consistently practical, and this seems to be true of the competing products, too. The amount of processor time spent juggling memory around to try to squeeze out a few extra drops is rarely worth the slow-down, and I’ve experienced system instability since installing this product (in fairness, the competing ones also appear to have had the same result). I can see this being useful for someone with very little RAM who is always running out of memory, and for whom this is the #1 problem. But for those of us with a lot of RAM, it will not relieve high "memory pressure", and the down-sides are not worth it running all the time, anyway. If you have 32+ GB of RAM and have run out, this app will not help you. You either have an excessive number of apps/pages open and need to close a bunch of them, or you have some runaway process or memory leak, and thus bigger problems than any such memory tweaker can solve. I probably wouldn’t use this except on a low-end laptop or old desktop that was limping along. On a powerful Mac Pro, it’s pretty useless.

Best memory app out there

Works like a charm for me. I depend upon it all the time. It is of tremendous use like no other. Thanks for creating this gem...

Great App, but loses two stars for nag screens

It works well, does what it says it will do, and does so unobtrusively. However, EVERY time the computer restarts, it displays a nag screen requesting feedback and showing other items the company sells. No way to remove this that I can find.

As Promised

Discrete - nice UI. Does a good job of….monitoring….simle, clean. Get it.

Doesnt get any quicker then this!

So simple! So easy! and soooo fast! And no messy time consuming configuration stuff to worry about.

Fantastic App

I love this app

Great App, keeps my Ram in check beautifully!

I am running an Imac with 32gb of RAM that somehow gets used up between my browser (Chrome), Photoshop and mutiple design/front end coding software. Memory Monitor is an easy one click solution to freeing up around 6-8gb of RAM at a time which allows me to work much more efficiently.

Great App!!

Love being able to track what is eating up memory on my Mac!!! ***** HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION

4 star Memory Management App

I love this little application! My only drawback is that on 10.9.5, it won’t auto optimize at the threshold I set (1024mb). On Mountain Lion and El Capitan, I don’t have such issues, it works fine. If I could figure that out, I’d give it a five star rating, as such only four stars until then.

Not sure yet

Only rating because I keep receiving a pop up msg to rate the app. Very annoying!

simple and quick

this is not a malwar remover, that is what I wanted but I am running an old operating system and cant find a well rated app for my needs so I tried this. and it is prety cool. when thinsgs start to hang up or drag I use it and it improved ram usage and things start working again. simple.

Simple and effective

A great and must have app for all Apple users. Helps boost perforance on your Mac with just a click of a button. Memory is key for performance and if your computer is feeling sluggish, you need to download this TODAY. You won’t be disappointed.

nags

pops up ads for authors other products and nags for review.

So Far So Good...

My Company Mac Pro was really dogging it and becoming most frustrating to use! I decided to try a memory optimizer to squeeze any bit of peformance out of it I could. This Mmemory Monitor application seems to be doing just what if promises. Wow! It worked on the first try and the speed is noticeable! Great job you guys and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING IT SHARE WARE for now too! With kind regards from a grateful! UC Berkeley National Laboratory Scientist
